Tight BBQ Traditional BBQ smoked on an all wood fired pit with a focus on Central Texas style! Traditional BBQ is a lot of work, but it is my passion. Thanks!

I focus on creating the highest quality BBQ I can turn out, using wood, smoke and time! The primary pit I use is a 500 gallon reverse flow smoker that runs on splits of post oak wood. It is much more work than other pits but I believe the flavor profiles you get from an all wood fire make it all worth the time and effort! I focus mainly on catering events, pre-orders for various holidays and colla

Our Story

Shane Light and Doug Tigtig's obsession with Craft Central Texas BBQ has culminated into starting TIGHT BBQ. Having sampled almost all of the Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ places in TX, they know what good BBQ should taste like. Smoked- low and slow, juicy, and great flavor are the key elements to everything TIGHT BBQ produces. TIGHT BBQ will be setting up their BBQ Pop Up at TX Leaguer Brewery in Stafford TX occasionally...so keep an eye out on here for future dates and times!
