Hello, everyone! It's been a while since I last introduced myself, so here's a little update about my family and me. For those of you who know me, you might notice a change in my last name. Yes, it's true—I am now Sicily Gilbert! 😊

Tom and I were married in October 2023 in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by our beloved family. He is the most genuine, wonderful husband I could have ever hoped for—I definitely hit the jackpot!

My family has grown from just Payton and me to a wonderful party of five. I am blessed with three amazing young adults. Blaine, who is 27, is about to embark on his graduate school journey at the University of Texas (Hook 'em!). Cassidy, 25, is making waves in her design career and doing fantastic. Payton, 21, is a rising senior at Oklahoma City University, majoring in acting with a minor in Business Entrepreneurship. She’s currently studying abroad in London and will soon head to Scotland to perform at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe then back to OCU for her Senior year.

Tom and I love it when we can get all the kids together for dinner, a pool party, or, my favorite, a football game watch! We (some of us more than others) are also huge Notre Dame football fans and are thrilled to attend the ND vs. Texas A&M game in August. Come fall, our house will be filled with the excitement and loud cheers of college football games!

In my day job, I am the Director of Recreation at the Houston Racquet Club. I have the pleasure of teaching tennis and swimming to our young members, overseeing swim programming, and assisting with tennis programming. In the evenings, Tom and I enjoy setting up our wonderful yard greetings to help celebrate with our community. My motto has always been that "you are never fully dressed without a smile", and making people smile with our yard greeting business truly fills my heart with joy.
