1. ALWAYS book a trial! Ideally 1 month prior to your wedding and if possible, prior to any of the following: engagement shoot to see how it photographs, a dress fitting so you can see how it looks against your dress, your makeup trial to help visualize the the finished look and give your makeup artist a better idea for color matching. A trial tan helps you decide if you want to go lighter, darker, or stay with the color we chose at your trial for your wedding tan and will also get you comfortable with the tanning process if you're not familiar with spray tanning or if this will be your first time. We want to get it just right for your wedding!
2. Get a tan before your pre-wedding events! (photoshoots, engagement party, bridal shower, bachelorette, wedding, honeymoon, etc.) This also is a great way to get multiple “trials” in before your big day!
3. Schedule your wedding tan 2-3 days prior for the best results! This is when your tan will look it’s best and ensures that there is no chance of the tan transferring or staining your dress.
4. Schedule all other beauty services 1-2 days prior to your appointment. (nails, facials, massages, waxing, brows, lashes, etc.) These services have their own products that are used throughout the services that when used too close to your tan appointment can create a barrier on your skin which will interfere with your tan. If these services are done after your tan those products can discolor, lighten and strip your tan.
5. Book a spray tan party! It’s the perfect way to get your “i do” crew together to make sure every member of your bridal party is looks their best! Remember, pictures last a lifetime!
