Our hearts go out to everyone affected by last night’s storm. We know many in our community are dealing with damage, disruption, and unexpected inconvenience, and we want you to know you’re not alone. Please keep your immediate concerns—and the concerns of friends and neighbors—in mind as we all work through the aftermath together.

If you’re looking for a brief evening away from the chaos, a few hours of air conditioning, music, and community, we invite you to join us. SYCA is fortunate to have power and we are open. Everyone is welcome.

Friday Social Night: Featuring Dusty Rhodes and the Ramblers
Tonight, Friday, June 12 7:00 PM

Whether you come to relax, reconnect, or simply catch your breath, we’d be glad to have you with us.
Stay safe, and take care of one another.

Due to an increase in ticket sales, we're moving the band to the Beck Ballroom instead of the lower Union B room! We are so excited for a great turn out for them, and for this show. We will sell tickets at the door or go to the box office tab on our website! See you all Friday at 7pm doors at 6pm $5!

For more than 30 years, the Partners In Art Program has celebrated the creativity of Sturgis Area Schools students by displaying their artwork in local businesses throughout the community. Since its founding in 1992, the program has recognized outstanding young artists and brought their talents to the public in a meaningful way.

Over the years, many of these pieces have made their way back to the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts, and we'd love to see them reunited with their artists or their families. This is a true attempt to give this artwork back to make room for new pieces in the building.

Whether you're the artist who created the piece years ago or a family member hoping to rediscover a treasured keepsake, we invite you to stop by and browse the collection. Every piece is professionally framed to be easily hung in an office, classroom, or home.

Exciting Updates at Sturges‑Young Center for the Arts!

As part of Restoring Our Vision: The Road to Restoration Project, SYCA is making improvements that enhance safety, accessibility, and the overall experience for our community.

What’s new? - Stage Extension – Now complete! The expanded stage adds space, improves performer safety, and allows for new front‑and‑center seating.

Front Entry Renovation – Larger doors and updated lighting are underway and expected to be completed later this summer.

Funding Support –These projects are made possible in part by the Newell A. & Grace A. Franks Fund of the Sturgis Area Community Foundation, awarded to SYCA in 2025.

“The renovation of the front entry will provide us with larger doors along with updated lighting, creating a more accessible and welcoming first impression for our patrons. Our front doors are more than an entryway. With the success of the SYCA Performance Series, Friday Social Night, the continuing partnerships with the schools, Wind Symphony, and Civic Players, and the increase in community private events, they have become a true gateway to connection, creativity, and shared community experiences.”
– Jamie Eymer, SYCA Director

Thank you for supporting the arts and being part of SYCA’s future—we can’t wait to welcome you through our new doors!
