Enhance your movie nights by adding a Cinema Circle Popcorn Bucket for a one-time fee of $20.00, which includes unlimited refills throughout the season. Returning bucket holders can renew their bucket for just $15.00 by bringing their bucket to the concessions window.

Please note that Cinema Circle Passes and Popcorn Buckets are valid only for the 2026–2027 season and do not carry over into future seasons.

Behind every community rental and event booking is a team working to give the best customer service. Working with clients from inquiry to completion we are proud to introduce formally to the community our Event Coordinator, Mia VanAtta!

Mia VanAtta is the Event Coordinator at the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts. Growing up in Bronson and Graduating from Burr Oak Highschool, she developed a love for community and the connections that bring people together. After serving two years in a part-time role at SYCA she then transitioned to full-time in October 2025. Mia now coordinates event rentals at SYCA and works with clients from start to finish. She cannot wait to work with familiar faces and meet new ones in her new role!

Director’s Note: “I have not only seen Mia grow personally and professionally in the last 9 months, I have also seen how loyal and passionate she is about SYCA and our mission. I couldn’t ask for a better teammate, and I am so proud to have her here working with our rental clients. I know with what we have done in the last two years, I couldn’t have done without her. She brings fun and light to every guest that walks through the SYCA doors!”

Behind every SYCA event, program and success is a dedicated team working hard to serve the community. This individual spends her time working with acts, planning all SYCA hosted events and is our Box Office Extraordinaire, we are proud to introduce formally our Programming and Special Events Coordinator, Sarah Watson!

Sarah is a Sturgis native and graduate of Sturgis High School and Grand Valley State University, she returns to her hometown after more than a decade in arts administration with Opera Carolina and Opera Grand Rapids. At SYCA, she coordinates large main stage performances, special events, and community programs. She believes that the arts, in all their forms, help shape a community's identity and character.

Director’s Note: “Even though she is our most recent hire here at SYCA, Sarah’s experience, talents and personality shines and blends with our team! I cannot wait for her to experience seeing her bookings/planning come to fruition here at Sturges-Young. I love that I can learn a lot from her and cannot wait to show everyone things she is planning for us this upcoming year!”
