There’s something about photographing motherhood by the ocean that feels almost sacred. 🤍

The wind, the waves, the anticipation of meeting someone who hasn’t even arrived yet… and that quiet in-between season where everything is changing.

I loved capturing this beautiful mama at Juno Beach Pier barefoot, glowing, and soaking in a moment she’ll never get to live quite the same way again.

These are the moments I love most about photography. Not just how someone looks, but how a season of their life felt.

Because one day, this little one will look back at these photographs and see the woman who was already loving them long before they ever met. 🌊🤍

Yes…and it means the world to me to hold space at births. Birth is one of the closest spaces you can get to the next realm, women are literal portals between worlds.

Today a lot of people are celebrating, whether you are or are not, can you take a moment to define what freedom looks like to you?

One thing freedom looks like to be is expression. I am so grateful to feel safe enough to express myself on this platform, through what I capture. I am grateful for all of you who keep me in business, keep me grateful, keep me desiring to always be better.

It is a privilege to live here, even amidst so much I would like to change within this country, I am still grateful.

I hope you too can find a moment to pause and express yourself freely today!

What a magical session this was. So I started out thinking I was arriving to my gorgeous friend Jennifer’s maternity session, only to be told that both her AND her horse were pregnant at the same time 🥹

There was no shortage of hormones at this session hahaha! Another cool tidbit is that the pregnant mare was actually also carrying the baby as a surrogate!

Beautiful story I had to share with you all! Thank you always for your likes/comments/engagement that keep this girl employed teehee

When you show up to your session as yourselves, that’s when the real magic happens.

I want it all, the goofy, the silly, the serious, the REAL RELATIONSHIPS to be fully seen. Because after all…that’s what is truly there anyway?

There is no judgement from me how anyone wishes to express themselves, and honestly, I prefer it that way 🫠
