Just want to let everyone know the final total for this year's Billy Frost Concert for PA Special Olympics is $14, 600! Not bad for a bunch of hillbillies on a Sunday afternoon! These monies were used to sponsor the Fall Sectional Games held yesterday at Desales University. Over six hundred athletes got to experience the thrill of competition and the sense of accomplishment it brings. As this was the last concert, I just want to the thank all those who were a part of it for the last 42 years! To all those who gave their time, donations, talent and support, please know your contributions have touched thousands of athletes throughout the years! The concert has raised over a half million dollars during its run! Its a testament to the love and caring of the Pocono community! On behalf of Kathy Pysher Fuls Snyder, Al Moranville, Rick Starr and I and all the committee members, thank you seems inadequate, but please know that our heartfelt gratitude! God bless!
