The Harford County 4-H Camp and Deer Creek Overlook The ideal venue for weddings, retreats, conferences, camps, and other special events/parties. All facilities are available for rental.

The Harford County 4-H Camp and Deer Creek Overlook is located in the heart of 184 wooded acres along Deer Creek. There are two indoor special event venues: Deer Creek Overlook is a modern facility that seats up to 290 and includes a professional, commercial kitchen. There is also a rustic lodge, as well as two large, outdoor pavilions, a picturesque outdoor wedding site with large gazebo, a large in-ground pool, and dormitories. Some of the best camp memories begin long before a child ever arrives at camp.

They begin with moms helping pack bags, labeling water bottles, cheering from the sidelines, encouraging independence, and sending kids off for new adventures with hugs, love, and just a little bit of worry.

Today, we celebrate all the mothers and caregivers who help young people grow into confident, compassionate, and adventurous individuals. Thank you for every ride to practice, every late-night pep talk, every packed lunch, and every moment of encouragement along the way.

Looking for the perfect summer job while home from college? Deer Creek Overlook / Harford County 4-H Camp is looking for an Assistant Caretaker to help us keep camp running smoothly during our busy summer season!

📅 Position Dates:
June 22, 2026 – August 14, 2026

🕘 Schedule:
5 Days Per Week
9AM – 3PM

💵 Pay:
$20 per hour

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a team, and helping create an amazing experience for campers throughout the summer.

With rising food costs, we’re turning to our amazing community for support. Right now, we are specifically looking for meat donations to help provide hearty, protein-packed meals for our campers.

We are currently accepting:
Ham • Pork • Sausage • Bacon • Ground Beef
