I am the M.Iles (Marissa Iles) in Magnificent M.Iles Events LLC. I look forward to begin planning your special event and going the extra mile for you!

I have effectively serviced several types of events: corporate, social, with a specialty in weddings. I like to share ideas I have seen across the event industry in addition to the clients I’ve worked with on this page. s since 2007 in college, the workplace and for friends/family. In 2012, I decided to pursue event planning more earnestly and began to take on projects discovering my true passion. In 2013, I received my Event Management & Design Certificate from the College of DuPage. From there I continued to pursue part time positions to gain additional experience to prepare me for my career change. In 2016, I transitioned into event management full time.

I have experience with corporate and social events such as weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, baby showers, trade shows, trainings and recognition events in which I would like to share my expertise with you. I am looking forward to the opportunity to go the extra mile for you! Services *

I had a magnificent time in Costa Rica for my Spanish Immersion trip courtesy of ❣️
¡Lo pasé de maravilla en Costa Rica durante mi viaje de inmersión lingüística en español gracias a Spanish for Black Girls!

We practiced our pronunciation, built our confidence going to the supermarket, mall, bank, pharmacy, etc. speaking in Spanish. We also learned how important coffee and blue butterflies are to the Costa Rican culture among many other things.

As my classmate said, I got everything I wanted and more from this trip.

Looking forward to continuing my journey to becoming fluent in Spanish so I can better serve my communities.

As an event and project manager, connecting with people from all backgrounds is important to me. I’ve been dedicating time to studying Spanish so I can serve a wider range of clients and truly embrace the diverse communities I work with. It’s been challenging, exciting, and incredibly rewarding 💪🏾
