Such a fun weekend in Nevada! See you there? Open Friday 4-9 and Saturday open EARLY for the ISU game at 10:30!

What a weekend incoming!!

We'll be open normal hours Thursday and Friday 4-9pm -->Stop in to see me tonight and fill your growler for $2 off (every Thursday!)

Saturday we'll have the car show RIGHT outside our front door! Parade just down the street at 10am! We'll also have the game on the screen! Opening at 10:30 with all the Bloody Mary and Mimosa goodness! Hop on the shuttle from downtown with at and grab a COLD CAN of your favorite flavor to enjoy on the ride to check out all the festivities at the fairgrounds!

To celebrate harvest season in the Backcountry, we're OPEN This Saturday 12-6pm. Swing in to enjoy a glass of your favorite wine, and stock up for all your upcoming occasions! We'll offer market specials (Bottles 2 for $28 and Cans 4 for $32) and of course, samples are always free!

Can I be honest about my favorite part of hosting events at Backcountry? Working alongside my husband and best friend. Nearly a decade ago, we began breathing life into this space, and we just haven't stopped. We show up for each other on the not-so-fun long and hard days (it's grape harvest week !) just the same as the super-fun-celebrating with you days, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Hey Friends! We owe you an update!

We are thrilled to have open our location in Nevada, Iowa this winter! The Well Brewery + Market It's been a beautiful thing to see so many familiar faces and meet new friends as well. If you haven't made it, we encourage you to check it out! Our hours right now are Thursdays and Fridays 4-9, and Saturdays 11-10. You can enjoy a great selection of our made-in-house beers, Backcountry Wines(!) and a selection of cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks as well!

Our property in Stratford is still looking for new ownership. We genuinely hope to find someone who can love it as much as we have over the last decade. We'll likely continue offering occasional limited hours at this location through this season, and are still booking events for the 2025 Season.
