I’m very proud to have been one of the first JP’s in the state to perform civil unions and was overjoyed when they became marriages. I performed many weddings for out-of-state couples, who traveled many miles to be married in Connecticut because, love is love. The Supreme Court’s decision was exhilarating. All people could get married in their home states.

Let us hope that it stays that way. We are living in frightening times.

In the meantime, I am committed to continue performing weddings for all couples in love.
