Oh my goodness. What a wedding! Danielle and Dave had perfect weather for their Hobbit wedding in Colebrook. The entire campground was turned into the Shire and we had such a glorious time. I love performing the unusual wedding and this was one of the most beautiful and unique ceremonies.

New marriage laws in Connecticut go into effect on October 1, 2026. Q: Is it 48 hours from the application for the marriage license, or from when the get their license? A: The 48 hours is just for the application to secure the license. There is no additional waiting period to perform the marriage ceremony once the license is issued.
