There’s so much to appreciate about Trevor’s music. It’s hypnotic, buzzy, and a little overcooked in the best way. I appreciate his attention to detail on his fun, knocking album, System, which was released as a compilation of his works in the 2010s. I was reminded of how our bodies function like clockwork, and how we’re unaware of all the coordination responsible for empowering our lives, and what ultimately motivates those bodily functions to persist despite their age.
