The evening at Bochner Farm was one for the memory books. A rain delay added to the excitement and even though we got a little wet, everyone had a lovely time. Thank you to all the guests that embraced the Iowa weather and made the event as special as it was. Cheers!

The July dinner at Rose Farm is something special. The flower gardens are taking off and the farm is buzzing with activities. Thank you to everyone that came out and dined with us for this month’s farm to table experience. See you in August!

The 2025 Up and comers chef dinner! Each year we feature a group of aspiring chefs at the Lone Oaks Barn. This year was absolutely perfect! The rains cleared just in time to host 64 guests inside the 1850’s barn. Chef Paige Hilgerson helped on the apps. Chef Noa Thompson served a beautiful “fancy toast” with peaches and whipped feta. Chef Callan Randall showed off her food science degree with a lovely corn soup. Chef Matthew Barber put Iowa on the plate with pork tenderloin and sweet corn succotash. Finishing off the meal with chef Lauren Taylor offering an elegant flourless chocolate cake and strawberries 5 ways! Thank you chefs for your passion and hard work!

We catered a beautiful wedding this last weekend with an even more beautiful couple! Congratulations to Elijah and Claire Hess! May life bring you infinite years of happiness together!

Perfect weather last evening . It doesn’t get much more farm to table than this! Four courses featuring 100% grass fed Iowa beef. Farmers Knute and Amanda take pride in their product and the way it’s raised. You also won’t find a cuter couple! I always thoroughly enjoy the welcoming handshake and kind smile from Knute and warm hug from Amanda. They have a wonderful crew and offer a truly unique experience. These dinners are special and so much goes into them to support local farmers and growers. Thank you all!

Beautiful evening for dinner in the barn ! Jordan and Whitney have something magical just outside of Earlham. Pork from and produce sourced just a few steps away by Grade A Gardens! We hope to be back next year!

We had the best night for our final dinner in the barn collaborating with Katie Flinn! Iowa’s only honey sommelier! We paired 4 different honey’s with local Iowa products. I was amazing at the different flavor profiles of each honey. Black locust honey, blueberry honey, dandelion honey and chestnut honey! 📸
