It is a beautiful, ephemeral (temporary) form of body adornment traditionally used for weddings and other occasions throughout the world. Whether you want a simple western influenced design or a more intricate pattern, it is a unique form of expression and individuality, aside from being just plain fun. The dye from the henna plant is organic and safe for all skin types, and my henna paste is made with only natural, organic ingredients.. never chemicals! HENNA IS NEVER EVER BLACK!!

I have so much fun working with this fairy! This season went SO fast, and we went out with a bang at Apple Fest.
Thank you to everyone who visited me and got henna, kept my small business busy all season.. all over the island!
I’m going to miss festival season, but I’m also looking forward to the rest, and hibernation time.
Looking forward to getting my car back, not filled with chairs, tables, tents and weights.
Thanks again to everyone who kept me afloat this season, and for your love of the beautiful art of henna 💜

This will be my last event doing henna for the season! It went by so fast, it’s hard to believe.
Last year was my first time at this event, and it was so awesome.. so I can’t wait to be back!
This coming weekend is Patchogue, then the following weekend is Apple Fest!
Hoping the weather holds out for both. .. it’s been a great season, and I’d love to go out on a good note with these last two great ones.

I’ve been doing street fairs and outdoor events for 13 years now.. and today is in the top 2 of the most WILD day ever.
Crazy busy, but like working in a tornado. High winds made me feel like I was fighting for my life all day. Books flying, my hair flying, even my henna felt wobbly because it was so windy! Fellow vendors merchandise breaking all over, tents flying.. the absolutely most crazy day ever.

But I met such awesome people, got to do a LOT of henna before the storm rolled in, and got to listen to Italian singers, and see the parade of St Liberata again.. and I look forward to this event every year.
Thank you, Patchogue. You always turn out in the best way.
