Comedy Night was a successful night with lots of laughter! Joe Conklin and his opening acts, including a few of members who came prepared with punchlines of their own, kept the crowd laughing all evening. A big thank you to Bill Larkin for chairing the event and to everyone who joined us for this fun night!

Our Scotch, Whiskey & Bourbon Tasting and Cigar Lounge was a huge hit! Members loved taking the event up to the Sail Deck this year, making for the perfect setting to sip, smoke and enjoy another summer night at YCSH.

A huge thank you to Tim & Tom Powers and Charlie DiGuiglielmo for chairing the event, as well as Miles Truesdell, for bringing the Cigar Lounge to life!

Sunday’s YAP End-of-Season Lunch was a wonderful opportunity for our YAP families to come together and celebrate another great summer.

Congratulations to all of our award winners and to every YAP participant on a fantastic season. We are so proud of everything our sailors accomplished this summer.

A huge thank you to our Waterfront & Sailing Director, Josie Rusk, for her leadership and dedication throughout the season, and to our coaches and instructors for all they do to make YAP such a special experience.

And most importantly, thank you to all of our YAP participants and their families for bringing the energy, enthusiasm and spirit that make this program so special. Congratulations on a great season, sailors!

A special night celebrating our 2026 Commodore, Doug Basile, and an incredible season at YCSH! We were proud to celebrate you alongside the Commodores who came before you and helped shape the club we know and love today.

A special thank you to our Commodores’ Dinner Dance Committee Chairs, Joe & Beth Ann Griesser and Wendi & Tom Powers, for creating such a memorable evening.

We are also thrilled to announce and welcome Fran Naselli as our incoming Rear Commodore. Fran will serve as Commodore for our Centennial Year in 2028-2029. Welcome to the Flag Team, Fran.

That’s a wrap on YAP 2026! ☀️⛵️💙

We closed out an incredible summer today with Color Wars—one last day of competition, teamwork and plenty of fun!

A huge thank you to our YAP parents, coaches and instructors, participants, and especially Sailing Director Josie Rusk for making this one of our biggest and best seasons yet.

The summer isn’t over quite yet—don’t forget to register for The Final Voyage: YAP End-of-Summer Lunch this Sunday!
