Angie Lane Photography -- Wrapped!

As the 2025 season comes to a close, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. This year was filled with senior sessions, family sessions, milestones for kids of all ages -- especially those moving from middle school to high school, and sessions with horses all across Stockton, Lodi, Modesto and Sacramento and even Hope Valley, Lake Tahoe and Monterey. From golden hour sessions to freak rainstorms, from pop-up sessions in sweet-smelling apple orchards to colorful flower fields, every moment reminded me why I love being a Central Valley photographer.

Thank you for choosing Angie Lane Photography to capture your moments. Thank you for supporting a small business, trusting me to style your family's outfits and freezing these moments for you to enjoy for many years to come. It means the world to me!

I can't wait for everything 2026 will bring. I truly have the best clients. The stats are fun, but what brings me the most joy is the relationships I have made with all of you-- capturing your moments year after year. Thank you for being a part of it all!

Moving into a new home is such a whirlwind — boxes everywhere, new routines, figuring out which light switch controls what
BUT it’s also one of the sweetest chapters in a family’s story… and one that deserves to be remembered.

I recently photographed the Lee family in their brand-new dream home, and it reminded me how meaningful these sessions can be.

Whether you’re settling in, upgrading, downsizing, or stepping into a new community, these milestones matter. And documenting them? That’s the magic you’ll look back on decades from now.

By the way — a special shoutout to the Lee family, who have been our optometrists at Midtown Optometry in Stockton for almost 20 years. They’ve cared for all five of us with glasses, contacts, and even vision therapy for my daughter. Getting to photograph their milestone was such an honor.

If you’re moving soon (or just moved!) and want to celebrate this chapter with a meaningful photo session, I’d love to help you make this house feel like home in the most memorable way.

Send me a message to book your session.

I made some little Brr baskets for my senior girls who came to our Christmas pop-up sessions at on Saturday (and we needed that hot chocolate-it was 40 degrees out!

It’s starting to feel like Christmas. Are you ready?!

The real magic is in the in-between.

Not every smile is perfect. Not every pose is still.

It’s the laughter, the play, the tiny moments that make a session special — and that’s what I love capturing.

Want a session where kids can just be themselves? Dm me to book your playful, stress-free session!

I wanted to give a big shout out to Karis for being featured in Senior Style Guide Magazine!

This session was so much fun because we got to photograph her with her horse (always a personal favorite for me!) And he was such a good boy, being trailered by a stranger in a strange trailer to a new location -- you never know how that will work out and he was amazing.

Congratulations Karis!

It has been such a busy fall! And if you ever notice me go a little radio silent on here… that’s when I’m at my busiest. 😂 I’m working on fixing that because I have so many gorgeous sessions to share!

Kicking things off with one from back in August with one of my favorite families—at one of my favorite spots in Hope Valley. If you know, you know: August in the Central Valley is basically an oven, so I couldn’t wait to get up into the mountains for cooler weather.

Well… we definitely escaped the heat, but we traded it for a full-on mountain thunderstorm! None of my (many) weather apps mentioned even a hint of storms, but the second I drove over the backside of the pass it started absolutely dumping. Thunder, lightning… even hail. I passed a bunch of soaked motorcyclists and hikers and felt so bad for them!

Thankfully, storms in the mountains tend to come and go, so we waited it out. It cleared just enough for us to get most of the session in before it started up again—and honestly, those moody skies were magic. ✨

So grateful for families who trust me, roll with the adventure, and make sessions like this unforgettable.

Are you Team Pumpkin Spice or Team Apple? 🍎🎃

I’ll admit, I love a few pumpkin spice treats (looking at you, chocolate chip pumpkin bread ), but my heart belongs to all things apple and caramel!

A couple of weeks ago, I had the sweetest opportunity to photograph my seniors during a pop-up session at the most charming local apple orchard. I couldn’t resist bringing home a big box of apples—and I’ve been baking ever since!

Think: homemade caramel sauce for dipping, mini apple turnovers fresh from the oven, and even some canned applesauce (which Kynlee has been devouring for breakfast this week!).

Now tell me… what’s your favorite fall treat? 🍂

10/20/2025

Two years ago, Kynlee went to her very first horse show — and it was rough. She ended the day in tears, and I remember sitting there with my stomach in knots, feeling every bit of her heartbreak. Last year, she tried again. She stepped it up, faced her fears, and did her very first baby jump at a show.

This year, she told me she wanted to go all in. Seven shows. Big jumps. Big goals. She worked so hard all season with her amazing jumping horse, Diamond, until a few weeks ago when Diamond fell on a jump and got injured. It could have been the end of her show season — but instead, Kynlee decided to train Jax, who’s only eight and had never really jumped at a show before.

It’s terrifying to watch your child teach a new horse to jump — for her, it was a test of courage and patience, and for me… well, my heart was in my throat more than once! At the last show, Jax refused every single jump and even ground poles. Kynlee got thrown off and could have easily given up. But she didn’t. She went home, kept working with Jax, and refused to let fear win.

And this weekend, at our final show of the season, she and Jax took 1st place on ground poles and cleared every single jump. 🥹

This sport isn’t just about ribbons — it’s about resilience, grit, and heart. Seeing her fall and rise again has shown me what resilience really is. Here’s to all the horse girls — tough as nails, full of heart, and brave enough to climb back on.💪❤️
