One of Maine's best-kept-secrets is The Only Doughnut in Belfast, the town’s favorite spot for delicious, handmade Maine potato and brioche donuts. They make small batches fresh every day, and flavors like The Homer with strawberry glaze and sprinkles, classic cinnamon sugar, and seasonal specials keep people coming back. This little shop began at a farmers market and became so popular it opened a storefront, winning Belfast’s 2020 New Business Award. Grab a half or full dozen, walk the Belfast Harborwalk just down the street, or visit the United Farmers Market nearby. Get there early...these donuts go fast for good reason!
