The Flower Slab

09/26/2026

When something unexpected happens. This went out to the Stockdale ISD Admin today in honor of Superintendent Todd Deaver using the school colors of purple and white.

I'll always remember him walking up and down the streets to visit different campuses as I was doing deliveries. I can tell he was a great asset to the school and community. He was always a joy to talk to and will be greatly missed by all.

Due to this unexpected event, and learning about a celebration of life is on October 3rd, I have reopened my online website, but have designer choice only during this time. My thoughts and prayers continue on towards the family, students, staff, and community.

We are approaching our busiest time of the year..... wedding season!!!

I have my first official fall wedding next two weeks (Sept.27- Oct. 11). I will have a limited supply on hand as I work through wedding arrangements. During this time, please be mindful that any flower orders can still be made, but may take me a little longer to bring things in if you are wanting something specific. I will try my best to get it in and completed! My online ordering will be shut down during this time, but you may call or text 830-391-8030 if you want to know what is available or have any questions. Thank y'all for the continued support and keeping me busy.

Been a very busy month! Thank you for those who supported me and trusting me with your floral needs. I'm attaching some pictures of some of the work I have done.

A couple things for next week.

First, I will be closed on Monday September 7th for Labor Day. I can still take orders or answer any questions through the phone.
Second, I will be opening a little later on Tuesday September 8th. I should be back in my shop by noon. I won't be able to pick up the phone during the morning but feel free to leave a message or even text and I'll get back to you asap. Thank y'all for the continued support and have a safe/restful Labor Day.

Due to a city wide gas leak, The Flower Slab will close today to make sure everyone is safe. You may still call, text, or order online if any flowers are needed. As of right now, the city doesn't have a timeline of when the gas leak will be fixed. We will reopen as soon as we can. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and stay safe Stockdale!

When two separate customers order similar flowers and colors, it's a beautiful coincidence! 💐🌸

This past weekend, we had the honor of celebrating Wedding 3, our final event on July 11th. In a delightful surprise for the bride, we featured the couple's beloved colors, lime green and Dodger blue. Best wishes to Lisa and Gio.
