After 32 incredible years of owning and running Fragrance and Flowers , it’s time for me to turn the page to a new chapter and say goodbye to this beloved place I’ve called home. This shop has been so much more than a business; it’s been a part of my heart and soul, a space filled with laughter, creativity, and endless faith and prayers.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of so many of your special moments—creating bouquets for weddings, memorials, birthdays, anniversaries, and everyday gestures of love. Your trust in me to bring your emotions to life through flowers has been the greatest honor, and I’ll forever cherish the memories we’ve shared. Getting to raise my three kids and 8 grandkids here has been such a blessing.
To my loyal customers, supportive community, and hardworking staff past and present: thank you. Thank you for allowing me to live out my passion and for making this journey so rewarding. Every smile, every kind word, and every visit has left an imprint on my heart.
As I prepare to step away and embrace retirement, I do so with a heart full of gratitude and love. This isn’t just a farewell—it’s a celebration of all we’ve accomplished together. As of February 1st I will pass the flower snips to Samuel Wilhite and can’t wait to see how he carries on the legacy. I will still be here open and running the shop until then so feel free to come see us.
Though I may not be in the shop every day, I will carry with me the lessons, friendships, and countless memories this chapter has given me.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for 32 beautiful years. I will miss this place dearly, but I’m so excited to see what the future holds.
