🔹Happy Father’s Day from St. John’s Lodge🔹

Today, we honor the fathers and father figures—those who walk with us on this terrestrial plane, and those whose light still guides us from the celestial realm.

To the steady hands that raised us, the wise voices that mentored us, and the hearts that loved us—we are grateful.

May this day be filled with reflection, gratitude, and the enduring strength of brotherly love.

🎉 Happy 177th Birthday, Wisconsin! 🎉

From your neighbors across the St. Croix, the Brothers of St. John’s Masonic Lodge #1 of Stillwater, Minnesota send warm fraternal greetings to the great state of Wisconsin — number 30 to join the Union, and a solid number 2 in our hearts (right behind Minnesota, naturally).

🧱 Fun fact: The Grand Lodge of Wisconsin Freemasons was formed in January 1844, nearly four years before Wisconsin officially became a state! And get this — Masonic meetings began there as early as 1823, when soldiers at Fort Howard (near present-day Green Bay) gathered in fellowship.

For over two centuries, Wisconsin Freemasons have been shaping communities, building bonds, and leading with integrity.

So here’s to you, Brothers in the Badger State —
We may tease, but we raise our working tools in salute.
On, Wisconsin – and On, Wisconsin Freemasonry!

Fraternally (and with just a hint of friendly rivalry),

St. John’s Lodge #1 of Stillwater, MN

A Tapestry of Light and Wisdom

Grand Architect of the Universe, We come before You, humbled and open, Woven together in the tapestry of our sacred bond. Through threads of brotherly love, truth, and harmony, You have bound us as brothers.

Enrich our minds with deeper knowledge, For in wisdom and understanding, we find strength in one another. Illuminate our path with wisdom and clarity, That we may lead with integrity and purpose.

Guide our hands as we build, our voices as we teach, And our hearts as we support and uplift. Let hope glimmer through the shadows of doubt, Reminding us that with each sunrise, new light emerges.

We ask for Your guidance as we labor in this great work, Ever striving toward truth, harmony, and brotherly love. Amen.

Message of the day from WM Lonnie Rangel:

In life’s darkest moments, we may feel vulnerable, lost, and alone. Yet even in the deepest shadows, there’s a light within each of us—one that shines brightest when we come together in love and support. Vulnerability is not a weakness, but a bridge that connects us, allowing for deeper understanding and healing. As we continue to weave the tapestry of our shared lives, every thread we contribute—whether in joy or sorrow—adds strength to the whole. When we embrace our imperfections and open our hearts to one another, we create space for growth and genuine connection, strengthening the bonds between us.

The light of happiness is found in brotherly love, where we lift each other up. Let us walk together through the darkness, knowing that the light we share can brighten even the toughest days. Through acts of kindness and words of encouragement, we strengthen the tapestry we’re building, uncovering the joy and strength that lie in our shared humanity. Let us love one another, vulnerable and true, for in that love, we find our light and build something beautiful together.

Just some of the wonderful work we are doing in partnership with M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital.

8-year-old Colton Belluzzo became one of the first in the nation last year to receive a new gene therapy to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy. His care team at M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital helped bring the treatment – and new hope – to his family. “It’s amazing, it’s amazing that we were able to make this happen for our child,” said Morgan, Colton’s mom. Freemason Friday Fact:

Mickey Mouse was never a Freemason, but he was a member of DeMolay, a Masonic youth organization. Mickey’s creator, Walt Disney, was active in DeMolay in his youth and inducted into the DeMolay Legion of Honor.

In 1931, Mickey appeared in a series of strips sporting the DeMolay insignia. The strips and individual drawings of Mickey with the insignia were signed by Walt himself.

Message of the day from WM Lonnie Rangel:

"When a brother is in need or in distress, it is our duty to stand beside him, for no one should carry their burdens alone. The strength of our tapestry lies not just in the threads we weave, but in how we uphold one another through life’s trials. Let us remain vigilant, recognizing the silent struggles around us, and offering more than just words—extending genuine support and steadfast action. By lifting each other up and answering the call of a brother in need, we ensure that no thread unravels and that our bond remains unbreakable."

We can’t believe it’s already been a year since one of our donated FSTs helped save a resident’s home—and their dogs—from a fire, thanks to the quick actions of the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.

Read about Stillwater’s St. John’s Masonic Lodge, their donations of fire suppression equipment to first responders, and the house with dogs inside that was saved because of their efforts.
