Trellis Wedding & Events Trellis is a beautiful outdoor garden venue. Lush gardens, chandeliers, flowering urns and fountains Located just two miles west of historic downtown Stillwater.

Trellis aims to provide the perfect setting for you to create memories that will be forever cherished. A beautiful white, scalloped canopy, adorns our lush gardens. There is no need to worry about a rainy day for your event! The canopy seats up to 250 guests and provides an ideal space for larger gatherings. A delightful white gazebo with a crystal chandelier overhead, is perfect for a smaller guest list of 50 or less. A very intimate option for smaller gatherings. Enter our venue and follow the greens of our tree lined pathway to a lovely cottage. A home away from home for the wedding party. The girls room is on the lower level, with a harvest table of make up mirrors, full length mirrors, graceful sofa and attached bath. Guys room is upstairs. Decorated with an air hockey table, refrigerator, air conditioning, large mirror, sofa and a high table. Everything you need to relax and get ready for your event. The grounds are picture perfect. Beautiful backdrops virtually everywhere you look to capture the special moments of your celebration.

Don’t forget to build in time for your guests to arrive and get seated!

When planning your ceremony timeline, we recommend scheduling your ceremony no earlier than 45 minutes after your rental begins and no later than about an hour before your rental ends.

But here’s the part couples sometimes forget: your guests will typically start arriving about 30 minutes before the ceremony.

And while your guests are arriving, you’ll usually be tucked away in the cottage, getting ready for your walk down the aisle. 🤍

That means you’ll want to make sure your timeline accounts for:
🌿 Getting yourselves and your belongings settled
🌿 Final touches before the ceremony
🌿 Your photographer capturing those last few getting-ready moments
🌿 Guests arriving, parking, and making their way to the ceremony space
🌿 And a little breathing room so you’re not feeling rushed!

A little extra breathing room can make a BIG difference in how relaxed you feel when it’s finally time to walk down the aisle. ✨

One of the biggest timeline questions we get… What time should I have my ceremony?

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer! Your ideal ceremony time often depends on how you want to approach your photos.

📸 Planning a first look? You’ll have more flexibility to take the majority of your couple and wedding party photos before the ceremony, giving you more time afterward to enjoy your guests.
Most common ceremony start time: one hour prior to the end of your rental.

🤍 Want to wait until the ceremony to see each other? This works great too! Hosting your ceremony earlier in your rental can give you plenty of time to capture those important photos afterward.

🌿 How about a little of both? Consider photographing your wedding parties and families beforehand, then save your couple’s portraits and combined photos for after the ceremony. This can give you the best of both options!

Pro tip? Work closely with your photographer when building your timeline. They’ll know how much time to allow for the specific photos you want and can help you create a timeline that feels natural rather than rushed.

For our grooms 🤵

FAQ: Should I arrive already dressed in my tux, or should I get ready at the venue?

Either works! Come dressed and ready to go, or bring your tux and get ready at the cottage. Whatever's easiest for you!

The upstairs of the cottage is all yours before the ceremony. There's plenty of room to hang out, full-length mirrors for those final tie checks, air conditioning to keep everyone cool, a refrigerator for drinks, and even an air hockey table if you want to kick back and have some fun before it's go time.
