Somebody needs to tell September that summer isn’t actually over yet. ☀️😂

School may be back in session, but weekends are still made for birthday parties, backyard celebrations, neighborhood get-togethers and one more excuse to get everybody outside.

And September might just be one of our favorite months for it. 🌴

With the last group of students heading back today, we want to wish all of our local students, teachers, school staff AND parents a great first day and an amazing school year! ♥️

Whether you’ve been counting down the days or wondering how summer possibly went by that fast… we made it to another school year.

Seeing our little family business in print, in a newspaper being delivered to mailboxes all across Queen Anne’s County, is one of those moments that feels a little surreal.

We officially launched Island Time just a few months ago, and the support this community has shown us since then has been incredible. Every rental, recommendation, tag, review, share, and person who tells a friend about us has helped us grow faster than we ever expected.

There is something about a tent by the water that just feels very Eastern Shore.

We had the chance to set this one up in a new neighborhood this weekend, and watching an empty space turn into a place ready for everyone to gather never gets old.

Another busy summer weekend in the books. ☀️💦

One of the coolest parts of this summer has been seeing Island Time setups popping up all over our community.

Backyards, neighborhoods, birthday parties, church events, family celebrations… every weekend looks a little different, but hearing the kids get excited when we start inflating never gets old. ❤️

And somehow, we’re already heading into the second half of August!

✨ We’re excited to offer bistro lighting as part of our tent rentals!

We recently had the opportunity to install this custom bistro lighting setup, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

When Dan came up with the idea, he envisioned sturdy, movable planters that would not only support the lighting but also look great as part of the setup. We knew exactly who to call.

A huge thank you to Chip Off The Olde Block for bringing Dan’s vision to life… or should we say, to light. 💡😉 Their craftsmanship turned an idea into something we’re super excited about.
