It feels like it’s been a while… so hi 🤎
For those who are new here, and for those who have been along for the ride — I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself.
I’m Kristen, the heart behind Block Photography. I’m a mama to SIX incredible kids — Kiana (15), Tayten (13), Evan (11), Aurora (7), Finnegan (5), and Quinton (3). Life in our home is beautifully chaotic, loud, busy, and full of so much love.
Several of my babies are on the spectrum, and advocacy for autism has become such a huge part of who I am. It’s something I’m deeply passionate about — not just for my own children, but for every family walking a similar path.
This past year has been… a lot. We’ve been navigating some really hard things, especially with Quinton and his ITP diagnosis. There were a lot of unknowns, a lot of fear, and a lot of learning how to adjust to a “new normal.” But I’m so thankful to say — we are in a much better place. We’ve found a newly FDA-approved medication for pediatrics that has been working so well and keeping his numbers stable. We’re still doing weekly blood draws, but overall, he is doing GOOD. And that is something I will never take for granted.
With all of that, I had to take a step back — to be present, to focus on my family, and to get us through a season that stretched me in every way.
But… I’m BACK 🤎
As life has started to level out a bit, I’m stepping back into this space with a full heart. Photography has always been more than just a job to me — it’s a passion that continues to grow with me year after year. I’m constantly learning, evolving, and pouring more into this craft that I love so deeply.
To my past clients, my current clients, and those who are still to come — thank you. Thank you for trusting me, supporting me, and allowing me to be a small part of your stories. It truly means more than you know.
I’m so excited to finally share my updated pricing guides and new branding with you all — something I’ve poured so much love into.
I’ll also be dreaming up some really fun minis in the near future, so stay tuned 🤎
