Admit it: Don't you want to run away from dinosaurs with your best friends on your wedding day?

Annie & Justin know how it's done. These museum lovers wanted to get married in their favorite place, the Public Museum so they could take in all the best parts of the museum in a beautiful, interesting place! This is the second wedding we've done at this venue and it really is magical, and such an interesting and creative spot to celebrate.

How do you turn family land into a wedding venue?

Hire us. 😘

Recently, we had a venue walk through with a Texas couple planning a Wisconsin wedding. For long-distance couples, a planner local to the area of the wedding is vital! For this walk through, we got to experience the beauty of family farmland (pictured here!) that goes back in the bride's family multiple generations. She has memories running around on grandma and grandpa's farm with her cousins, and having a wedding at this venue is ushering in a new season of memories on this special property.

Bringing the logistics of a wedding onto a family property is a challenging feat - once you factor in rentals, parking, design, schedules, weather, and vendors, just to name a few. Creating private property magic takes experience, and we love the challenge of turning a non-wedding venue into one. Challenge accepted!

Today, a quick love letter to 's Home Bakery. Get a load of this dramatic chocolate cake!! With the berries...and the chocolate drip...

We love partnering with Manderfield's. They are always on time, their cake is always delicious, and they know how to create a drop-dead-gorgeous sweet centerpiece. Personally, I (Marsha) have worked with Molly in our last few weddings together, and she has always been such a great communicator and she's been on top of things. Makes our job as a planner so much easier!!

Her work speaks for itself, she is organized and thorough, and she is great to work with (warm, knowledgeable, and a great communicator).

Trust me - we know!! We have worked alongside her at more weddings that we can count, and she did the flowers for my (Jana) wedding!

For Abbey & Tyler, they smartly chose to sneak away to Schmeeckle Reserve for a breath of fresh air before the wedding reception started together. For a SentryWorld wedding, this nature reserve is just across the street and is such a gorgeous spot for photos!

Personally, I take a few hikes at Schmeeckle every week, so I KNOW how fantastic this place is. Trust me. 😘

Other things we love to plan: Canoe breaks before the reception 🛶

There was finally a break in the rain after the ceremony, and Kim and Jesse got to go out in the green canoe to let the beauty of their day sink in. We loved this little escape together, and the freedom to take a little time just the two of them! Plus, the camp’s green canoe was EXACTLY like Jesse’s grandfather’s green canoe, so the personal nostalgia there was unmatched.

PS: It's becoming a tradition now that in October I bring these pictures back up because it's just so dang cozy! And romantic!!

Thiiiiiiis first image in the driveway is my very favorite photo from Kristen & Mike's wedding gallery - isn't is just the epitome of wedding day joy. ⭐

These two decided that their wedding venue would be Kristen's family's lakehouse - a home where they love being with extended family, or just themselves with the dogs. This special place, situated beautifully on Lake DuBay, was such a cozy and hospitable place for the best day of their lives!

A backyard wedding has the potential to run into trouble if the weather takes a turn - so they planned ahead by hiring Party Envy to set up their gorgeous clear tent (photo 2!!). It was the perfect anchor for the backyard reception, where guests could look through the tent at the tall pines next to the lake.

We have officially hit our "off season"! What a great year of weddings. We are SO grateful to get to work in the wedding industry - being the backbone, the behind-the-scenes, the treading, busy "duck feet" under the surface of the water keeping the wedding moving, afloat, smooth.

Thank you to Imagination Photography for sending us this sneaky photo from Caitlin & Kyle's wedding at Rib Mountain! It was such a sweet surprise, and such a summary of what we get to do - being the right hand gal to the bride and groom, setting everyone up for success. It's such a gratifying line of work.

Muse at SentryWorld is such a swanky spot for a wedding reception - just see these glam Young Photography images for yourself. We've had such a fun time looking back at Brittany & Chris's wedding and seeing it all - so happy! Luxe! Swanky!

Also, personally, (Jana speaking) I've had many great meals there on dates and with close friends. We are lucky to have this gem in Stevens Point!
