It's about learning their story, seeing their love through the lens, and uniquely documenting their day from beginning to end. Day One Event Photography was born out of the collaborative efforts of myself and photographer Jenifer Purpi. We met and became friends while in school together, often working as each other’s assistants for photo shoots. We found our creative processes quickly falling in s
ync: the result of our work together was a realization of our dynamic energy as a team. Our individual artistic visions compliment each other and allow us to produce images that are sure to bring smiles and "happy tears" for many years to come. As the oldest of eight children, I grew up in a very busy household full of love and excitement. Because of my background, I have a natural bond with children and families. I'm especially fond of my inventive nature when working with children and embrace the opportunity to capture their unique personalities. I love working as a location photographer! This allows me to bring the studio to you and create an environment rather than being stuck in a studio all day never changing my perspective. The relaxed nature of my photography combined with my clients’ opportunity to make their sessions unique and personal produce the treasured images that will be shared for a lifetime. I never put a time limit on a session, allowing it to take on a colorful life of its own. My dedication to these unique moments creates images which evoke emotion and attachment, and that is what brings me personal fulfillment in my work for you. In addition to weddings, Day One Event Photography is also available for bridal and baby showers, bachelorette fashion photo shoots, birthday parties and corporate events. Other requests will be considered on an individual basis.
