Campanula is starting to pop off here in Sterling! Snapdragons are starting to bloom and one of my favorite early summer flowers- feverfew! Lots of planting and weeding accomplished this weekend. One more bed of dahlias to plant for fall weddings, slowing catching up!

Today was going so well despite the gale force winds. I got a lot of things done like planting lilies, cleaning out the cooler, harvesting peonies and then I went out to check the peonies again. Half of the field that was planted already had the landscape fabric ripped up by the wind, it got hooked on the side of the high tunnel, almost took out half of my peonies, and one weather app says it may get down to 36 in the am. Growing isn’t easy and I don’t always share the hard parts but this afternoon was a rough one. I will get through it, maybe I will just open a florist shop so I don’t have to deal with the hardships of growing your own flowers 🤷‍♀️
