I meet the sweetest souls at our Bloom Bar, Pop Ups + Markets - which is why Bloom Bars will always be part of our company ๐
Itโs also a big reason of how I dreamed them up.
Flowering for weddings and events in our home studio fuels my creative mind, however, entrepreneurship can be a lonely business. Bloom Bars and workshops are what have gotten me out of the studio and face to face with so many of you!
I was labeled a โSocial Butterflyโ ๐ฆ growing up by my teachers (mostly in a loving way, but also in a not so loving way with the cranky ones ๐
) which is part of the inspiration for our name. This business was always meant to be more than just about the blooms.
Last weekend See You Sunday I chatted with a few ladies who I couldโve talked hours with. Jennifred, a new flower friend, was just the kindest human. We bonded over blooms, Erin Benzakein - Floret and things we are growing in our gardens. Today, a handwritten postcard came in the mail from her. Truly the most thoughtful sentiment that reminded me that in the hustle and often chaos of flowering and events, community and connecting with people is at the heart of it.
Lisa was a returning customer who I just adore. She had a checklist of shops and items she wanted to check out at the Market. She came solo (although usually seen with her best friend) and shopped all morning long. I donโt even know how many laps she took around the market, but with each lap I checked in with her to see the goodies sheโd snagged and what else she needed to check off her list.
If you were lucky enough to meet or chat with either of these ladies, I hope you know you struck gold ๐
Forever loving the community and connection that happens, long after the markets end ๐๐โจ
