YES, WE’RE STILL HERE & STILL BOOKING! ❤️

We’ve been a little quieter lately, but Old Fashioned is absolutely still here, still working, and still accepting bookings for catering, concessions, rentals, and upcoming events!

I’m just moving a little slower these days.

The end of July and August absolutely hammer our family with grief. We’re still trying to process the very recent loss of my dad, and now we’re heading into the birth & anniversary dates of losing our first son, Noah & and my mom.

It’s just… a lot.

So right now, I’m giving myself permission to step back when I need to. Sometimes that means a message might sit a little longer than usual, a quote might take me an extra day, or I might put my phone down and disappear for a bit.

But please know one thing:

You can still count on me. ❤️

If your event is booked, we’ll be there. If you’re looking to book, send that message. If I don’t answer as quickly as I normally would, I promise I’m not ignoring you or going anywhere—I may just need a minute.

Running these businesses and being part of your celebrations is something I genuinely love, and honestly, having happy things to look forward to is pretty good medicine during a season that feels this heavy.

So yes… we’re still here, we’re still booking, and we’re still ready to make some memories with you.

Just give me a little extra grace if it takes me a minute to get back to you. ❤️

Today, we laid my dad to rest.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has reached out with your prayers, messages, calls, and kindness. The love shown to my family has meant more than I could ever put into words.

If you’ve sent me a message and I haven’t responded yet, please know I’m not ignoring you. We have a house full of family and friends, and I’m trying to be present with them while navigating one of the hardest days of my life.

Please give me a day or two to catch up on messages. I look forward to responding when I’m able.

We decided to cater Dad’s funeral service luncheon ourselves since we didn’t have enough going on, right?

Plus all the left over meat from the weekend…might as well utilize it, right?
