Hello October! It’s already October 4th! Here’s to beautiful October weddings this month. Congratulations to the couples that got married yesterday. It turned out to be a beautiful day for a wedding.

Happy anniversary to quite a few of my couples. We have a full October with weddings. We are excited for them all this month.

Today is the first day of Autumn, and you know what that means… FALL WEDDING SEASON is officially here! 🤎

There’s just something magical about a fall wedding—the cooler temperatures, changing leaves, warm color palettes, candlelight, cozy details, seasonal florals, and those gorgeous golden-hour photos. ✨

And here in the Shenandoah Valley, Fall gives us one of the most beautiful backdrops for saying “I do.” 🍁⛰️

Whether your wedding style is rich burgundy and rust, elegant neutrals, deep jewel tones, or classic black and white, autumn has a way of making everything feel a little more romantic.

As a wedding planner, this is one of those seasons that keeps me BUSY—but I wouldn’t have it any other way! 🤎

If you know me, you know I LOVE chai! 😂 I make myself a chai latte at home pretty much every single day. Hot or iced, it’s definitely my go-to drink.

But there’s just something about a hot chai when the weather starts getting cooler… cozy blanket, fire in the fireplace, warm mug in hand—perfection. 🍂🔥☕

And yes, I can even turn National Chai Day into a wedding-planning post! 😂

☕ Let’s talk wedding beverage stations!

Coffee after dinner has always been a reception staple, but couples are taking it to a whole new level. Instead of simply putting out a pot of coffee next to the desserts, create an entire coffee, tea & latte bar for your guests.

Think:
✨ Fresh coffee & espresso
✨ Chai lattes
✨ Hot and iced teas
✨ Flavored syrups
✨ Creamers & milk options
✨ Whipped cream
✨ Cinnamon, chocolate & other toppings
✨ Hot chocolate for the non-coffee drinkers

Guests can create their own customized drink to enjoy with wedding cake or dessert—and it becomes another fun little experience during the reception.

For a fall or winter wedding? A warm chai latte bar would be especially cozy. 🍁🤎 You could even create a signature wedding chai with a cute custom name!

Our website is down. It has been down for 2 months now. I had hoped I could have had it fixed and back up quickly, but that did not happen. I am in the process of getting it rebuilt. It got erased completely. Hopefully by the end of this month, it will be back to fully functioning. This also means that my business email cannot receive emails. I can send emails out but can't receive them.
