Katie has been there through every high, every challenge, and every crazy idea along the way. She’s the kind of lady who makes everyone feel like family, and her impact on this business and this team goes far beyond what most people see. Some people help build a business. Some people help build the spirit of it. Reed was that person for us.

Reed. Large Dawg. Rude Boy. Dizzy P. The first person to jump on board the Muy Loco Train.

From the early days of this truck to the countless shifts, long nights, and memories in between, he left his mark on all of us. He wasn’t just part of the team, he was family. We learned together, we worked together, we laughed, we celebrated. He was a friend to us all, and one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. He brought positive energy, enthusiasm, and the highest stoke levels possible. He helped build the culture of Muy Loco from the ground up, the kind of atmosphere that’s drawn incredible people to this team over the years. He gave so much of himself to the people around him, and his absence will be felt every day.

We are heartbroken over his passing and deeply grateful for the time we got to share with him.

Starting Muy Loco Tacos was a huge accomplishment, but starting it with Reed gave me confidence. It turned every day of work into a dream come true. Working alongside my best friend, striving to make our vision a reality was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

We’ll miss his presence, his humor, and the way he showed up for the people around him.

Rest easy, brother. We will carry you with us forever. ❤️
