Somewhere over the Rainbow There Are Ponies Waiting To Meet YOU!! 🐴🎉💕

Are you someone with horse experience looking to start a professional career?

Do you have a horse crazy kid already enrolled in our program that wants more ride time?

Are you interested in owning a horse but want to know more about what’s involved?

The Pony Place is opening its doors to one instructor and 5 lucky working students (kids or adults) to help care for our team of 10 ponies in exchange for lessons! After school help is welcome as well as weekend help.
Qualifications include: a great work ethic, drama free person, positive and welcoming attitude, reliable and takes direction well, and someone who is willing to enroll in our lesson program for at least one paid lesson per week (all additional ride time can be worked off) . Firefly was such a brave unicorn for the Glenmore Hunt - Moonrise and Fireflies Ride and what a fun and fantastic course!! Firefly cantered her very first log and then our first line of jumps, and walked on the buckle for miles like a true champion. We also enjoyed “chasing” very spooky looking lights on different groups of horses when it got dark. Truly an unforgettable experience. Can’t wait for next year already!!

The Pony Place is filled with giggles and patient ponies, and girls and boys learning not to oversteer and pull themselves off balance and their ponies in the most fun way I could think of! Ladybug’s 🐞 progress is so beautiful! I spent an hour today spoiling her and treating her various wounds and skin conditions that are healing with time. ♥️ She is such a gentle soul, and already taught her first lesson this week now that her weight is healthy. I can’t wait to see how she continues to blossom!

Pebbles refutes any claim that she is high maintenance 😎 whilst wearing her $270 Australian UV blocking sunglasses 😂🤷‍♀️. This pony is a walking disaster from an auto immune standpoint but every week I learn more ways to help her and that’s what it’s all about! She reminds me a lot of myself. Just when things seems resolved, another issue pops up. Isn’t she so relatable? I will always go above and beyond for my ponies. I’m sure they are saying the same about me as I clumsily work on my equitation or stick rowdy preschoolers on them who don’t know the first thing about riding. It’s such a healing relationship and so fulfilling. The ponies are true heroes for those that enjoy them- and we are heroes for them too.

Hard At Work Or Hardly Working? First ride with Peter Pan Today! He is clearly uneducated, but took my weight and walked me around with very little fuss. Going from driving to riding has to be a weird transition for him! By the end of the session, which was only about 15 minutes, he was already starting to accept leg! This smart boy is going to be an easy project once we get him comfortable in his own skin. Chiropractor, massage, farrier, and some great minerals and aminos and I’m sure he will feel like a new man!
