The sound and video system upgrades at the Statesville Event Center have been completed. The new equipment has been installed and is operational.

Training for staff on the operation and use of the new equipment is scheduled for next week. These upgrades will enhance the facility's audio and visual capabilities for meetings, conferences, performances, and special events.

The Event Services Technician supports events and operations at the Statesville Event Center by maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized facility. Responsibilities include setting up event spaces, assisting customers at the front desk, supporting event logistics, and providing basic A/V and custodial services. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who is comfortable with hands-on work and adaptable to a flexible schedule.
