Mother’s Day can hold so many different emotions.
For some, it’s flowers, drawings, hugs, and little voices saying “I love you.”
For others, it can be grief, longing, healing, memories, or silent love that often goes unseen.
Some women become mothers through birth.
Some through adoption.
Some through years of hope and heartbreak.
Some mothers are no longer here.
Some fathers step into both roles and give everything they have.
Some grandparents help raise children with endless patience and love.
Some women care for others so naturally and deeply that they become a safe place, whether they are called “mom” or not.
And sometimes, nurturing love appears quietly:
through support, protection, kindness, sacrifice, gentleness, and simply being there for someone.
Today, I just wanted to take a moment to recognize every heart that nurtures, loves, and protects in its own way.
To the mothers, the fathers doing double duty, the grandmothers, the caregivers, the women still waiting, the women grieving, and the people who spend their lives caring deeply for others — this day sees you too 🌸
Happy Mother’s Day 💗
