Happy (belated) wedding day to R&L! 🌸🌼

This suite had *all* the colors for R&L’s outdoor garden wedding! When Rebecca reached out to me last summer, she mention how much they really wanted to have a cohesive look throughout their wedding stationery. They also wanted something fun but elegant, which was the words they used to describe their upstate New York backyard wedding. I think we nailed it!

Bold colors aren’t always something you see here on the feed, but I’m so excited to show off this suite. It’s the perfect summer color palette that’s bold without being overwhelming!

Happy wedding day M&H! 💒

Maimie reached out to me last winter knowing that she and Harrison wanted to do something a little special for their wedding stationery. The mother of the groom is an artist and they wanted to incorporate her artwork so that their invitations were an extra level of unique and I was here for it! I love when couples bring special elements to their invitations, whether it’s something I create for them or something they bring to me.

Maimie described their wedding as a cross between the modern Meredith Blake and the classic Elizabeth James from the classic Parent Trap. As someone who’s watched that movie more times than she can count, I was ready to bring their stationery to life with this in mind.

I’ve been loving the bold and bright colors that my couples have been asking for this season!

TREND ALERT: not being afraid of bold, bright hues! If you had asked me last year what my least favorite color for anything, especially wedding, I probably would have dead-faced said “yellow, but even more, purple and yellow.” But this year, I challenged myself to love it- which lead me to making this fresh squeezed lemon-water toned flatlay mat! It’s lively and fun, just like the day you’re going to have. It’s personality, it’s joy, it’s the sunshine ☀️ What’s your favorite wedding color combination?

Happy wedding day to Sydney and Sam! I had the privilege of designing their custom invitations and day of stationery for their Miami Beach wedding. Lots of inspiration came from their venue, The Betsy Hotel, and the Miami Beach location 🏝️🌊☀️

Swipe to see their calligraphy place card menu combo and their welcome bag insert card that features a watercolor map of the area along with the couples recommendation.

And we couldn’t forget about their little pup Schubert! I painted a custom portrait of the little guy to go along with their signature drink honoring him.

Just some weddings that I can’t wait for in 2023! And these are only the ones I’ve had the pleasure of designing save the dates for!

You can see just from these save the date cards, each wedding is so unique. Why settle for run of the mill stationery when you could have something custom designed just for you and your wedding?

Merry (third day of) Christmas!! 🎄 It’s been lovely to unplug and take some time to really enjoy the holiday with family so thank you everyone for your patience!

I’ll be fully back in the studio in January 2nd and I can’t wait to wrap up the year with a little look back at all the amazing projects I’ve worked on this year!

Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, I hope everyone is taking some time to relax as we close out 2022!

Wedding planning tip! The last thing you want to do is over order invitations and be left with a huge stack, feeling like you wasted money all because you ordered one per guest instead of one per household 🤦🏽‍♀️

Spoiler alert: your household count is almost always less than your guest count!
