I’ve been delaying this post because this is a tough one. This Wednesday, June 28, will be the end of an era. At Two Brothers this Wednesday, Kelley and I will be hosting the last Music Biz karaoke show in Starkville. It’s been a WILD 8 years! Starkville showed up and showed out everywhere we went: The Beer Garden, The Dawg House, Dave’s Dark Horse Tavern, Two Brothers Smoked Meats, Hobie’s, Moe’s (kinda), The Fountain Bar, Georgia Blue…yeah, I bet most of y’all couldn’t have named all those venues!

I came here and started The Music Biz with the intention take over karaoke in the area, and we did that s**t.

So come on by, pay your respects, sing your favorite song (sign up early!), and drink with The Music Biz one last time!

NEW MUSIC ALERT!!

We just added a bunch of karaoke songs that you've been requesting! Now you'll notice that some of these songs are a few years old. That's because whenever you request a song we don't have, I keep the request slip and add those song to a spreadsheet of songs that I look for a few times a year. For some of these, they've been on the spreadsheet for YEARS and are just now available!

Sometimes it takes karaoke producers awhile to catch up. The rate at which new music is released is orders of magnitude greater than before the internet age. But if you ask for a song I don't have, I WILL continue to look for it!
