Some weddings are special because of the details. Some are special because of the people. And every once in a while, you get a wedding that means a little bit more because it’s family. 🤍
This one was especially meaningful for us. The bride is the sister of one half of our planning team, Kaitlin— which meant she got to step out of her planner role and simply be the sister and bridesmaid for the day.
Well… mostly. 😉
When you’re a planner, it’s not always possible to completely turn that part of your brain off. Even while celebrating her sister, Kaitlin was still checking in, making sure things were running smoothly, and quietly making sure everything was taken care of.
Thankfully, Lena was there to officially take the reins on planning and coordination, letting Kaitlin be present for the moments that mattered most— while still doing what planners do best: making sure everything was taken care of.
This one will always be a favorite in our books— not only because we got to help bring the day together, but because we got to experience it from more than one side of the celebration ✨
