Hi, y'all! We have quite a lot of new faces around here (a huge thank you—we are grateful beyond words!) and we wanted to take a few minutes to formally introduce ourselves.
We are Anthony and Megan, the owner/operators of Rollie Pollie's formerly known as Rollie Pollie Egg Roll Factory! We’re the duo responsible for making you question everything you thought you knew about egg rolls. No fancy culinary degrees here—just grandma-taught kitchen skills, plenty of restaurant industry grit, and a genuine love for making people happy through food.
We often get asked how this all started. Back in 2020 during the start of the pandemic, we were managing sober living houses. With everyone out of work and stuck inside, spirits were low. Anthony decided to use his passion for cooking to bring some joy to the house. Every night, we "traveled" the world through dinner, eventually landing on China—and, of course, egg rolls!
With a "few" leftover wrappers and a little bit of boredom, Anthony started wondering: What else can we roll up and fry?
He adapted a recipe for a popular chicken dish, and our famous Crack Chicken Roll was born. It was an instant hit! From there, the creativity exploded. Hot sausage, Philly steak, pulled pork, pierogi, and Reuben are just a few of the over 100 recipes we’ve developed since. Add our adorable bulldog, Dozer (Mr. Rollie Pollie himself), as our logo, and the Rollie Pollie Egg Roll Factory was officially alive.
We started small, but we grew fast. In just over two years, we upgraded from a tiny food trailer to a beautiful, all-in-one food truck. For six amazing years, that truck was our entire life.
We serviced Morgantown and a 30-mile radius in every direction, catering everything from private wedding receptions and graduations to massive multi-day festivals. We are so incredibly grateful for the miles we traveled and the memories we made on those wheels. But as the saying goes: It's the end of an era, and the start of a legacy.
Now, we have officially traded our wheels for a permanent home! As we settle into our new stationary spot, we’ve realized that with just the two of us running the show, we need to pour 100% of our heart and energy into this new chapter. Because of that, we made the difficult decision to retire the food truck.
But don't worry—losing the wheels means you gain a majorly expanded menu! While we will always sling the signature egg rolls and fries everyone craves, our new takeout menu features a huge lineup of lunch and dinner favorites.
The greatly expanded menu features salads, hoagies, chicken sammies, juicy burgers, cheesesteaks featuring house sliced steak, massive chicken tenders and loaded mac bowls We also have a dedicated Vegan/Vegetarian section at the shop, featuring plant-based eats
