🪴Williams Floral Update 🪴

As many of you know, we experienced a fire recently. The building is currently closed to the public — Please respect the caution tape and avoid approaching the windows or doors, We dont want anyone getting hurt.

✔️We’ve had several people asking what caused the fire — at this time, the cause is undetermined, and we don’t have any further information to share.

We appreciate everyone’s support, prayers, and patience. We’re taking things one day at a time.

🪴Kripa is getting caught up on her house projects, going through baby clothes, decluttering her whole house, working on her garden, farm, and enjoying being a mom!
Bryan wants to clean up the greenhouse but we shall wait! Laya, “Mummy when can I go to the shop and make flowers with Emmie and Kylie?” Grayson, “So when do I get to weed?” Just a little stories. 😂

In the meantime, arrangements and orders are still being taken through calls, text
messages. Our website is on hold for right now, due to space, inventory.

💔 A Note from Williams Floral 💐

Early this morning, we experienced a fire at Williams Floral. While we are incredibly grateful no one was hurt, the inside of our beloved shop has been heavily damaged. We will be closed until further notice as we begin the process of cleanup and rebuilding.

🌱 In the meantime, Kripa will be making arrangements from the farm, and we still have shrubs, trees, mulch, soils, and tomato trellises available outside for your summer planting needs. Please reach out if you’re looking for something — we’ll do our best to help however we can. 218-894-2188 (We also receive text messages)

🪴 Houseplants will have to wait until we are able to reopen the storefront.

❌ With love, I kindly ask that you please refrain from saying things like “Its probably good It burned, its old and bound to happen.

This isn’t just a building — it’s a piece of history. From the outside, some may not understand the depth of what this little floral shop means to me. We have owned it for over two months but there is more to the story!

I (Kripa) fell in love with that building, when I was 15 years old, back in my high school days. My mom Marie used to bring me there — and ever since, it’s held a special place in my heart. It’s not just an old building. It holds many generation memories, the old rustic wood, personally Handmade wood baskets to holds receipts.

Before we know it, it’ll be time to dry them and save them for winter…

Without the nature, the mycelium, and the water, this world wouldn’t exist. People ask “Kripa why are you always happy?” My answer, “I live once and I want to enjoy everything life has to offer.” While I am not in the shop, I love to spend time in the woods as much as possible. 📸 Teaching Moments & Transitions 🌿
While the greenhouse is nearly empty, we’re shifting gears and getting ready for something fresh and exciting—our gift shop refresh and new houseplant inventory!

We still have plenty of perennials, and yes—they’re on sale! In the meantime, we’ll be cleaning up and organizing the perennial area to grt ready for next year spring. While transforming the greenhouse into a houseplant haven: complete with rare plants, custom soil mixes, plant food, planters, baskets, and everything you need to create a cozy green corner at home. But remember It all takes time, organizing, $$$🙈

🌼 On the good news, This week, I decided to teach my girls how to arrange flowers. Ali and Frances absolutely love it! Daniel loves to help me organize flowers. It felt like the perfect time—while I’m still learning myself. We all looked at the arrangments and discuss where certain flowers go😂 It all akes time—and I’m letting it flow and grow naturally, and not forcing it.

As for the gift shop, expect a curated mix of rare houseplants, beautiful planters, custom soils, and one-stop goodies for plant lovers. I have 50 ideas running through my head (probably more), and I’m working on pulling them all into one beautiful, functional space.

💬 Yes, I’ve been asked, “Did you make the right decision?” Yes!!!! 😉

I might seem like I’m in the middle of a mess, but if you could see the picture in my head, it would all make sense. Trust the process.

So if you stop by and see things scattered, or not a lot on the shelves—just know we’re getting ready for the next season. And if a child greets you and says, “Hey! I made this flower arrangement. It’s $80!” — just smiling helps them. They’re learning, dreaming, and blossoming too.
