Dearest Stamping Ground neighbors and friends….
Woodlake Reserve Event Venue is closing it’s doors.
There has not been enough local support to keep it open even though our wedding, party, and shower prices are priced much below the industry standard.
Even though we are 8 miles from Georgetown, and the fastest growing county in our state….there’s not enough folks interested in driving to Stamping Ground for events.
We are still hopeful for the future of Stamping Ground business….but it’s going to take dedicated and high minded folks to realize how a city succeeds and how we all depend on each other for support.
We are going to do our best to still honor the reservations still on the books.
We’ve enjoyed meeting so many fine people and it’s been such a pleasure to witness some of the most beautiful weddings, birthday parties, and showers for so many wonderful folks and their families.
Plus our own children have married here, had gender reveal parties, showers, and birthday parties for our beloved grandchildren.
(Just to be clear…even though we are encouraging folks to support LOCAL…. We are not saying that it’s locals fault….there’s other factors in play too.
Being located in a rural area, advertising, and the rates of insurance and taxes for this type of business are big factors as well.)
