THE FUNCTION: A Year-Round, Indoor/Outdoor Event and Performance Venue

THE SHOP provides a beautiful, serene shopping experience where you will find Owner and Designer, Momma Wonder’s handcrafted collection of original jewelry, wearable art, mind and body products, card cuts, succulents, novelties and custom made Lil’ Catskills Gift Boxes. With a free water hydration station and just steps off the Catskill Scenic Trail, Catskills Junction makes the perfect waypoint for trail travelers coming by foot, bike, horse or ski. A leisurely stroll through our eclectic offerings will take you through the organic scents of pure beeswax candles, natural handmade felted and landscape soaps, eye-catching ambers of locally sourced honey and maple products and a specially curated selection of antique and vintage clothing, jewelry, toys, games and housewares, which will provide a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Adjacent to THE SHOP is THE FUNCTION, Stamford’s newest versatile, climate controlled, year-round, accessible indoor/outdoor event venue complete with a wood stove, private on-site parking, acoustic treatments, ambience lighting, tables, seating and a small movable stage. With two large garage doors, THE FUNCTION opens to a front garden with seating and picturesque adjoining side yard boasting views of Mt. THE FUNCTION offers a unique setting for celebrations, business events and performances. Within a few steps, guests of THE FUNCTION can enjoy what THE SHOP has to offer.

As a small community oriented business in Delaware County, we have made it a priority to get involved. As a Board member of the Catskills Revitalization Corporation (CRC), which owns the Delaware & Ulster Railroad and Catskill Scenic Trail and President of Friends of the Catskill Scenic Trail (FoCST) I, Donna Kennedy aka MommaWonder
we will be sharing updates about what is happening on the Trail as our business sits and may be accessed directly off the trail. FoCST is a non-profit 501C3 created to focus exclusively on the Catskill Scenic Trail. As such, we work closely with the CRC as stewards and advocates of the trail. FoCST Headquarters is at Catskills Junction where the active Board and I have committed much of our time and effort toward creating a mission and vision for the trail and its continued use by the public. We are proud to support this tremendous asset and look forward to sharing more about FoCST as it evolves. In the meantime, stop by THE SHOP Catskills Junction Friday & Saturdays 11-4 and Sundays 12-4 to learn about collaborative community events we are creating and ways you can support the trail and get involved. Whether near or far, we should never take for granted, private lands for public use. Join me in abiding by the rules of the trail so all can enjoy and we steward responsibly.
