We lost our sweet farm cat “Stash” today 😔 I was on my way to work when a kind soul stopped at the house to alert me that she found him and he’d been hit. He’s been my buddy for over 3 years now and as silly as it sounds, one thing that I take pride in, is befriending and helping stray cats that get dropped off or find their way here looking for a meal and a warm bed. I worked relentlessly over a year to be able to even pet him and finally got him to the point this summer that I could give him belly rubs which were his favorite. I won’t argue with people that say well if you loved him he should’ve been inside and what not. He loved being outside and had a heated cat box, a meal anytime he wanted it and that made his Gypsy soul content. I know this won’t reach the right people, but I ask that everyone please slow down on Kregar Road. It’s been an increasing issue and we’ve noticed it more especially with Finlee and the farmstand. Rest easy sweet boy, we will miss your snaggle tooth, tongue out faces 😩
