The Magic Chef Mansion will be open for self-guided Halloween tours on Saturday October 3, 2026 from 3-6 pm. We are located at 3400 Russell St Louis, MO 63104. This 1908 mansion is furnished in antiques, original lighting and vintage working appliances. The basement features the original bowling alley, saloon and torcher chamber.
Adults $25.00 - kids 6-12 $10.00 - kids under 6 are free. Pay at the door or in advance on Eventbrite.
Free parking on Russell.

The mansion was designed by architect Ernst Janssen for Charles Stockstrom who was the founder of the Magic Chef Stove Company. It was built in 1908 for $49,500 and took about 1 year to build. Clearly, they did not have a skeleton crew! This private home is furnished in period antiques, original lighting and working vintage appliances. The basement features the original bowling alley, saloon and torcher chamber.
Adults are $25.00, kids 6-12 are $10.00 and kids under 6 are free. You can pay at the front door on the day of the tour or in advance on Eventbrite.

The mansion was designed by architect Ernst Janssen for Charles Stockstrom who was the founder of the Magic Chef Stove Company. It was built in 1908 for $49,500 and took about 1 year to build. This restored private home is furnished in period antiques, original lighting and working vintage appliances. The basement features the original bowling alley and saloon.
