From the moment I met Colton + Jessi during their winter engagement session earlier this year, I had a feeling their wedding day was going to be something special. The western charm was already there — and by wedding day, they turned it into something unforgettable.

Crossbuck Barn was the perfect backdrop for a celebration that felt straight out of a country song. Cowhides, boots, hay bales, cowboy hats, and thoughtful details everywhere you looked. Jessi absolutely knocked it out of the park bringing her vision to life.

And then there was the wedding party.

Without a doubt, one of the most entertaining groups we've worked with all year. Fireball shots, pistols exchanged as wedding gifts, tailgates packed with ice-cold beer, and enough energy to keep the celebration rolling from start to finish. This crew showed up ready to celebrate, and they did not disappoint.

What stood out most, though, was how true Colton + Jessi stayed to themselves throughout the entire day. Nothing felt forced. Nothing felt staged. Just two people celebrating their love exactly the way they wanted to, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.

Those are the stories that are the most fun to document.

The rain may have been in the forecast, but Chase + Lindsey never let it steal the spotlight. 💍👏

Nestled among the trees at Birds of a Feather in Troy, Missouri, these two celebrated their wedding day surrounded by the people who mean the most to them, and it couldn't have come together more perfectly. As the skies cleared just in time for the ceremony, the entire day unfolded exactly the way it was meant to.

One of the most memorable moments came during the bride's first look with her father. It was the kind of emotional, genuine moment that reminds you what wedding days are really all about. From there, the energy shifted into full celebration mode thanks to a wedding party that showed up ready to have a good time and kept the excitement rolling all day long.

Between the rustic charm of the venue, an incredible team of vendors, delicious BBQ, and a couple who treated everyone around them with kindness, this day was an absolute pleasure to be part of.

The best wedding days aren't measured by timelines or details — they're measured by moments, and this day was overflowing with them. 💍😍

Set against the sparkling lake views at Maison Du Lac, these two spent the day doing what they do best: loving each other wholeheartedly and making everyone around them feel like part of the celebration.

One of the most unforgettable moments came immediately after the ceremony. As they walked away hand-in-hand as husband and wife, both Joe + Sara's eyes were full of tears — the kind of emotion you simply can't script. It was a beautiful reminder that after all the planning, details, and anticipation, this day meant absolutely everything to them.

The wedding party brought the perfect mix of energy and chaos, giving us the opportunity to get creative and capture some incredibly fun moments throughout the day. The first looks were emotional, the reception crowd showed up ready to celebrate, and the mother-son dance left more than a few guests reaching for tissues.

From start to finish, this one felt special. Joe + Sara, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of such an important day. We already know you're going to love what's coming in your full feature film!

• senior portraits one minute.. surprise proposals the next. 💍😍

A few years ago, I was photographing Tristen’s senior portraits — and now here we are, celebrating one of the biggest moments of her life alongside Kaleb in the middle of Forest Park. What started as a message from an excited fiancé-to-be quickly turned into weeks of planning, coordinating details, and making sure every piece of the proposal went off without a hitch. From the location, to the timing, to somehow keeping it all a surprise.. Kaleb had every detail covered.

The day of, I was weaving through trees trying not to blow my cover, watching for his red polo and her white dress to finally come around the corner. Then just like that — one knee hit the ground, Forest Park became the backdrop to one of the sweetest moments I’ve had the privilege of capturing, and the second she said yes, the entire park erupted into cheers and congratulations.

Afterward, we wandered through the park capturing their engagement portraits while the excitement of it all still hung in the air — and honestly, moments like this are such a reminder of why I love what I do so much. From senior portraits, to proposals, to wedding days and everything in between.. getting to help tell people’s stories is something I’ll never take for granted.

Congratulations, Kaleb + Tristen! Let the wedding planning begin.

Ford Family.. Party of 4! 🌅📸

From their engagement session to their wedding day, and now getting to photograph them as a family of four — this one felt especially full circle. Sessions like these are such a reminder of why I love what I do so much. Getting a front row seat to people’s lives as their story continues to grow is something I’ll never take for granted.

We spent the evening at Klondike Park surrounded by white sandy beaches, warm golden light reflecting off the water, and the kind of atmosphere that makes documenting memories feel effortless. Such a beautiful family!

Thank you for continuing to trust me with some of the most important chapters of your lives, Chase + Rebecca!

Andrew + Emma understood the assignment — and then completely raised the bar. 💍🔥

These two spent their special day at Triple 3 Vineyards and it was nonstop from the jump — the kind of energy you can’t fake and definitely can’t teach. From the details to the moments in between, everything just flowed in a way that made the entire day feel effortless.

I met these two at their engagement session last year and knew right away that they were going to be fun — but seeing it all come together on their wedding day was a different level. Kind, hilarious, and just fully themselves.. the exact kind of couple that makes this job easy.

Their wedding party? Elite. The kind of group that brings the energy, keeps things moving, and turns every moment into something worth capturing. And then the reception took off.
A live band that didn’t miss once — dance floor packed, zero lull, just straight celebration all night.

As if that wasn’t enough, the sunset came in strong with colors you couldn’t plan if you tried, giving us portraits that wrapped the day up perfectly. This one truly had everything.

There are wedding days that feel beautiful… and then there are wedding days that feel like a movie from the second you arrive. 🎥✨

Brett + Isabel's celebration at Hermann Hill Weddings was exactly that. One of our favorite venues, an incredible group of people, vendors that didn’t miss a beat, and a wedding party that kept the energy high from start to finish — the entire day flowed so effortlessly.

And then came the sunset… wow. Hermann showed off in the best possible way for these two, and we captured some unreal moments because of it. We already know this film is going to be something special, and we genuinely cannot wait for Brett + Isabel to see everything we have in store for them. Congratulations, newlyweds!

From the moment we arrived at Klondike Park, it was nonstop laughs, effortless conversation, and the kind of connection that instantly makes you feel like you’ve known someone far longer than you actually have. Becca + Erin are two of the kindest souls I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing, and getting to know them made me even more certain — their Wedding Day is going to be something incredibly special.

Some love just feels easy.. easy to witness, easy to celebrate, and easy to capture. Congratulations on your engagement, you two — I already cannot wait for what’s next.

Golden light, open fields + the perfect family.. 🌅🌾

I’ve had the privilege of photographing Andres + Autumn's family for three years now, and honestly.. watching these sessions evolve has been pretty incredible. Their three kiddos get bigger, their personalities get wilder, and every year somehow brings a whole new kind of magic to capture.

There’s something really special about getting a front row seat to a family’s growth through my lens — especially when Mom + Dad become genuine friends along the way. I'm so thankful for them both!
