Aly, co-owner of Eden, has been living with ulcerative colitis since she was a teenager. After a difficult past summer battling a severe flare with no medication, she’s finally in remission, thanks to regular infusions and continued care.
Then, just a few months ago, we were hit with more hard news—Corey, Jenn’s husband and Aly’s dad, was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. It’s been a challenging journey so far; emergency hospital stays, medications that aren’t working, high-dose steroids, and ongoing anemia. We’re still fighting to get him into remission. It’s been exhausting, physically and emotionally, for all of us.
The medications giving Aly relief and offering Corey hope? They exist because of research funded by the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. These treatments weren’t available just a generation ago, and they’ve made the difference for families like ours.
That’s why we’re fundraising and inviting you to join us. Your donation, no matter the size, helps fund critical research, new treatments, and the hope for a cure.
