Sunday was a gorgeous day for Kicking Cow to help activate the 32nd annual Purina Pet Parade, recognized by the Guinness World Records as the largest costumed pet parade globally. Pet owners made a $10 donation, benefitting the Open Door Animal Sanctuary, to walk in the parade and showcase their animals wearing Mardi Gras attire. There were likely 70,000 people in attendance and approximately 3,000 people walking in the parade.

Congratulations to the Purina Pro Plan-fueled dog Monty, the giant schnauzer, for winning the 149th Westminster Kennel Club Best in Show.

Kicking Cow is proud to have partnered with Pro Plan the last 14 years bringing their sponsorship to life on the biggest stage in dog shows. That kind of dedication and loyalty to a winning partnership should be celebrated.

In celebration of the freedom we enjoy, we are going to take Independence Day and the following day off to honor the men and women who fought for our great country. Thank you for supporting businesses like Kicking Cow as a way to keep the country strong. Happy Fourth of July!

Kicking Cow helped bring the Pro Plan booth to life at the Boston Marathon this week creating a must-stop destination for dog-owning, marathon fans. The sign-making activity gave attendees an easy, dog-centric way to support their loved ones in the race. Consumers were also given a sample of Pro Plan Sport Performance 30/20 formula allowing them to support their active dogs at home.

Purina's Performance Team dogs won't be the only ones flying high this weekend. Visit the Purina tent Saturday, September 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for great entertainment, samples and free dog tags for your pups.

Food Trucks? Heck yes we’re a fan! In honor of National Food Truck Day, we to one of our favorite programs. We hit the road with a Purina Chef Michaels food truck just for dogs. With our experience in the food truck business, we created a one-of-a-kind foodie event for both people and their pets. Due to fans overwhelming requests, we added 7 additional cities to our route! This program was very successful because it was an unexpected, fun and shareable experience. Why shouldn’t dogs have food trucks too?🐶
