My name is Katie Mulchek and I graduated in 2005 from Missouri State University with a degree in Event Planning. In 2006, I started helping friends with their weddings and found a true passion for it. Along with this company, I am a coordinator at Concordia Lutheran Church where I coordinate the rehearsal and ceremony for the couples getting married there. At the end of the 2015 wedding season we will have coordinated over 125 weddings! I really enjoy getting to know each couple on a personal level and working with their needs. I think it is important to individualize my services to each bride and groom. Our packages are designed to fit your budget and your plans. Twenty years of September weddings… and what a beautiful 20 years it has been!

September has always had a little bit of everything — the most gorgeous fall colors, generally cooler temperatures (although, let’s be honest, sometimes September likes to pretend it’s still July!), and some of the most unique and beautiful spaces St. Louis has to offer.

The most wonderful couples have trusted me to be part of one of the biggest days of their lives, and I’m so grateful for every love story, every celebration, every happy tear, every dance floor, and every “we did it!” moment.

From elegant fall florals to unexpected spaces, intimate celebrations to unforgettable parties, September has given me some truly special memories throughout the years.

Here’s to 20 years of September love, beautiful beginnings, changing leaves, unpredictable weather and, most importantly, the most wonderful couples!

Photos by the amazing - A few raindrops couldn’t dampen the magic of Max & Lauren’s unforgettable day. Surrounded by family, friends, and generations of love, these two exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony before celebrating in style at one of St. Louis’ most elegant country clubs.

The timeless blue-and-white palette, abundant florals, and thoughtful personal touches created an atmosphere that was both sophisticated and deeply meaningful. Their sweet nods to Honey - their beloved pup, and the Butler Bulldogs where their love story first began were icing on the cake. The celebration truly came alive as The Red Jackets packed the dance floor and kept guests dancing late into the night.

Twenty years of July weddings… and somehow, they never get old.

July has given us some of our most unforgettable celebrations—from our very first wedding ever, to the incredible honor of coordinating my own sister’s wedding, THREE best friend’s weddings and my kid’s nanny’s wedding - and so many beautiful love stories in between.

Yes, July is usually HOT. The bouquets have survived the heat, the wedding parties have kept smiling, and we’ve become experts at finding shade, keeping everyone hydrated, and making every timeline flow no matter what the temperatures bring. But one thing July almost always delivers is gorgeous sunshine and the perfect backdrop for saying “I do.”

Looking back over two decades of July weddings, I’m incredibly grateful for every couple who trusted Your Perfect Wedding Day to be part of such an important chapter in their lives. Every wedding has been unique, every celebration has been filled with love, and every season reminds me why I started this journey 20 years ago.

Over nearly two decades, I’ve seen just about everything this month can bring. I’ve coordinated weddings on some of the hottest days of the summer, keeping everyone cool while making sure the celebration never missed a beat. I’ve watched storm clouds gather and, in one unforgettable case, witnessed a tornado literally change course, allowing a couple’s wedding day to still feel magical.

June has brought beautiful sunshine, unexpected weather, happy tears, packed dance floors, and countless memories. Through every challenge and every celebration, one thing has remained the same: the joy of watching two people begin their marriage surrounded by the people they love most.

Thank you to all of the couples who have trusted me to be part of your June wedding stories over the past 19 years. Every wedding has been unique, and every one has left its mark on my heart.
