One year of Cailin & Patrick. 🤍

Some weddings are beautiful. Some weddings are unforgettable. And then there are the weddings that feel so completely them that you find yourself thinking about them long after the last dance.

A year later, these are still some of my favorite memories from Cailin & Patrick’s wedding day—the details, the little nods to who they are, the ridiculously cool tattoo, the champagne toasts, and, of course, the way they celebrated their marriage surrounded by their favorite people.

My husband sent me this quote a few days ago and I immediately committed it to memory.

Honestly? It's the most beautiful perspective of the wedding planning process I've ever heard and I hope all engaged couples keep it in mind.

We'll make sure the candles are lit, the timeline stays on track, and the dance floor is packed. But at the center of it all is something far more important than a perfectly folded napkin:

A marriage.

Everything else is just a really incredible excuse to celebrate it!
