Aimee and Gio
This whole day felt like a movie set. Wicked Pony Ranch has this quiet, open beauty to it wide fields, soft light, and that peaceful feeling you get when you’re surrounded by nature. It created the perfect backdrop for a day that felt personal and grounded from start to finish.
One of my favorite parts was having their dogs there. Anyone who knows Aimee and Gio knows how much their pups are part of their life, and including them made the day feel even more like them. There’s something about bringing in the things (and animals) that matter most that makes a wedding feel authentic rather than staged. And then, as if the day wasn’t already charming enough, we had an unexpected guest join photos a curious horse who wandered over from the pasture. One of those perfectly unplanned moments that made everyone laugh and turned into something unforgettable.
The portraits out in the field are some of my favorites. The light, the openness, and the way they settled into the moment together felt natural and effortless. You can almost feel the calm of the day when you look at them.
What made this one especially meaningful for me was getting to be there for Aimee as more than just a planner. As a fellow vendor and someone I deeply respect, it meant a lot that she trusted me with her day.
A beautiful reminder that weddings don’t have to be overcomplicated to be special just thoughtful, genuine, and full of the right people.
