Gus’s Southern Smoke was inspired by me and my stepsons love of BBQ. We are located in South St. Louis and have competed and will continue to compete in local BBQ competitions. We are available for weekend catering for your BBQ needs. Whether your having a small birthday party or just a family get together, leave the cooking/smoking to us.

After a long day I have settled in at home (unpacking happens tomorrow since it's raining) and Gus is heading back to school. We had a great day at 9 Mile Garden for their 2nd annual BBQ comp where I can proudly say we finished in the top 5, our best finish yet. Now time to regroup and get ready for Staunton Ribfest next Saturday!!!
