Important Update Regarding Rice + Co. Events Styled Workshops

It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you that we have made the difficult decisions to cancel all three of our upcoming Styled Workshop events.

As many of you know, these shoots are a collaborative volunteer effort between all vendors involved. Unfortunately, due to continued challenges in coordinating schedules, we've faced repeated delays and rescheduling. After much consideration, we believe that the most respectful and professional course of action is to step back from these events rather than risk causing further frustration and inconvenience for our valued participants and vendor partners.

Full refunds for the remaining workshops will be processed on June 5th. Emails have gone out to all vendors and participants from [email protected]. Please check your spam and let me know if you have not received this email.

Please know this decision was not made lightly. This is not how I prefer to run any aspect of my business, and I deeply regret any disappointment this causes, as I share your sentiment. However, given the circumstances, I believe this to be the most responsible and considerate option for all involved.

Thank you so much for your support, understanding, and the time and energy many of you have already contributed to past Styled Workshop events. I am grateful for each of you, and I hope to have the opportunity to collaborate again in the future under better-aligned circumstances.

Hey, it's been a while! So, let's talk.

Rice + Co. Events has had three incredible years in this industry and has grown more rapidly than I ever anticipated. I am beyond thankful for every couple that has booked with us, every photographer that has attended a styled workshop, and every vendor that has us on their referral list.

However, after much consideration, Rice + Co. Events is going to be downsizing our services and operations in 2026 and beyond. Anyone who knows me knows that I load my plate full. This past year, I have learned the importance of slowing down. Not only so that I can enjoy these years with my family, but so that every client of Rice + Co. Events gets our top-quality work.

We will be limiting our wedding coordination projects to four per year, our styled workshops to one per year, and will discontinue rentals altogether. Our officiating services will remain entirely open.

November 2025 is booked solid for weddings. A big thank you to the four amazing couples who chose us for their special day!

Rice + Co. Events did 24 weddings in 2024! We're so thankful for the couples that have come our way and allowed us to be a part of their special day. Each wedding afforded us the privilege to learn, grow, and thrive. I could not be more thankful as we close this year out to ring in a new one.

That said, Rice + Co. Events will only be accepting a max of 12 weddings in 2025 for a few reasons, but the most important is that I like to take my time with each wedding. I aim to ensure that our couples feel known, seen, valued, heard and attended to. Making this move will allow me to be fully present with my couples, and that's what I strive for above all else.
