Long ago in the back alleys of Chicago, Jon Franklin took his first photograph, learning to capture light through the shadows of the L. train and translating urban angles into composed cityscapes. Entirely self-taught, Franklin travels the globe with wife Lala, seeking unusual locales and authentic moments to capture in his signature bold style.
